Within the limit of our fortnightly meetings, we try to create a programme that has a fine balance of speakers, competitions and practical evenings, hopefully offering something for everyone. At the same time, we do recognise that our programme will never be able to cover everything and we know from our earlier survey that some of you would appreciate a little more help with the basics, to get you fully into the swing of club life. To that end, we are offering a supplementary programme of 'Camera Craft Workshops', which will run alongside the main programme at £3 per two-hour session. These will be informal meetings with the first two sessions booked for November - check out the details and sign up if you are interested [LINK]. Feel free to post your own suggestions too....no promises, but we'll try!
For more information, timing, location etc. check out the SxPF website [LINK]: please note, there is a £5 entry fee. |

TUESDAY 30th OCTOBER - LCE (Chichester)
Canon Event Canon's day of reckoning has arrived with its entry into the mirrorless, full-frame, camera market. A bit late to the party maybe (along with arch rivals Nikon) but in the game nevertheless. It's worth going along to these manufacturer-lead events because they often have special offers to accompany the launch, which are just too tempting to refuse! We have the scars! Hang on to your wallets! Member offer up to 10% discount on a range of products and accessories across the store, show your membership card |
PDI competition - 29th October
FYI, we had an unprecedented number of entries and so the 4th choices have been dropped from this competition. You can enter them in any other print or PDI competition in the future.

If his last visit is anything to go by, we are in for a very entertaining evening. David's energy is enough to inspire his audience without even seeing his amazing pictures. As a photographer, author, lecturer and cruise ship aficionado, this is not an evening to be missed! Guests very welcome - £5 on the door. David's website [LINK] |
